As one of the highest-performing AI supercomputers at any North American university, the VISION supercomputer positions Texas A&M University System as an epicenter of AI education and research. Tripling the A&M System's previous supercomputing capacity, VISION empowers student and faculty researchers to develop forward-thinking solutions to pressing, complex issues with global impact.
What is VISION?
VISION, a NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD, provides high-performance supercomputing designed for state-of-the-art infrastructure for GPU-based workloads. It will support A&M System research initiatives in key areas, including but not limited to:
- Machine learning
- Generative AI applications
- Model training
- Image processing
- Graphics rendering
- Scientific simulations
- Robotics enablement
- Autonomous systems
Who is VISION for?
VISION will be available to researchers of all disciplines across the entire Texas A&M System. It is designed and intended to accelerate breakthroughs across every area of study—from engineering and medicine to agriculture and space science.

Getting Started
Performance validation and initial testing for VISION will take place from December 2025 to February 2026, with VISION tentatively scheduled for deployment in research in March 2026.
